Virtual Training for Acupuncturists

چکیده
Rapid developments of medical field, expanding knowledge bases and new technologies require continuing medical education to achieve life long learning and to keep physicians up-to-date. Consequently, specific training is necessary to guarantee qualification of medical experts. Virtual Reality has the potential to build up a safe training environment overcoming current drawbacks of traditional training (on-the-job training, plastic models etc.) in medicine. This paper focuses on the development of a training simulator for acupuncture.
